Alameda Legacy Home Tour 2008 is being planned now for September 28th from 11 am to 5 pm.

At present, our web site is still under construction. We are making every effort to get our NEW site with HOSTWAY set up after the ending of our longterm relationship with BIGSTEP. At this point we can provide you with some information regarding the tour by email:  alamedahometour@netscape.net or by phone:  510-523-5907.  We hope to have a very basic site set up by the end of APRIL 2008.  Thank you for your patience.

In brief, you should know the following about us: our home tours began in the early 1970s.  Alameda Museum was founded in 1948 and Alameda Architectural Preservation Society started in 1972.  Both organizations are Non-Profit and use the tour proceeds to fund programs unique to each.  Education about History with a focus on Architectural Styles is important to Alameda and part of our mission.  You may visit the Alameda Museum site at www.alamedamuseum.org    Alameda Architectural Preservation Society's site is www.alameda-preservation.org

The 2008 tour will the 25th edition and another joint venture by the two non-profit organizations.  The plan is to focus on Alameda's Western End, featuring Craftsman, Storybook, and Victorian homes.  We are delighted to have Perforce Foundation as our sponsor for the eighth year.

Our business address is ALHT, c/o Alameda Museum, 2324 Alameda Avenue, Alameda, CA 94501
